THE GROVE OF AGIOS NIKOLAOS

Saint Nicholas’ Alley is 12 km away from ‘Sfendamos wood village’.

It is a terrestrial paradise of 60,000 sq. Km. filled with plane trees and thousands of other species. Within the grove are the springs of the river Arapitsa that crosses Naoussa.

In the grove there are sports facilities with a state-of-the-art Olympic swimming pool, the 2^ndbest in Greece, a playground, an artificial lake for fishing, walking paths.

At the edge of the grove near the mountain you can visit the farm of wild animals and birds.
